Prime Minister Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute announce imminent works on the Bamenda Urban City Roads

PM Dion Ngute closing the 7th session PPRD steering committee in Bamenda The Prime Minister, Head of government Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute has called on the minister of public works Emmanuel Nganou Djomessi to ensure that works begin on the urban roads of Bamenda soonest. He was speaking as he closes the 7th Session of the steering committee of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North West and South West region. PPRD Chairperson presents activity report, 2025 annual agenda at 7th session steering committee meeting in Bamenda

PPRD Steering Committee chairperson Paul Tasong presenting activity report, 2025 projections In presenting the activity report and 2025 projections of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North West and South West Regions, it's Steering Committee Chairperson, Paul Tasong, Friday July 4th, at the Bamenda congress hall, revealed that the program has so far re-established and issued 400 lost documents, including birth certificates, to those who lost them under diverse circumstances as a result of the conflict in the North West. Paul Tasong said while 71 Schools, 14 health centers, 14 water points, 14 markets and 6 bridges have been constructed and rehabilitated, over 200 youths have so far benefited start-up funds for their businesses as at June 30 2025. CAMTEL Presents 5G technology at 14th Edition of Yaounde Government Action Fair (SAGO)

According to the Deputy General Manager of the state-run corporation Daniel Désiré Ollé, Camtel plans to introduce 5G technology as part of a broader network expansion aimed at improving service quality, increasing coverage from 40% to 80%. The PM, stepping his foot into the region for the 3rd time since taking office in 2019, is coming to take stock of projects realized and those being excuted by government within the framework of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the NW/SW regions, when the steering committee meets for their 7th session in Bamenda.
