North-West Economic Forum: Headline Sponsor, Source Du Pays express desire to establish distribution centre in North West to create more jobs

The National Brand Manager of Source Du Pay, Ayuk Isaac has made known his company's desire to set up a distribution center in the North West region.

He said such move will not only create employment opportunities for the young people in the region, but will go a long way to encourage valorization of home-made products.

Mr Ayuk Isaac pointed out that their brands are well known within the urban peripheries of the North West region, but still begs visibility in the suburbs therein, hence the need for the creation of a distribution centre. 

As it stands, the over eight products from Source Du Pays being consumed in the region, comes from the distribution centre in Bafoussam.

In tandem with the vision of the economic forum, which seeks to explore avenues of rebranding and re-vitalizing the business climate of a the North West region of Cameroon, creeping out from an 8-year old conflict, the brand manager of the company feels that coming closer to the consumers presents  a win-win situation. 

He expressed the desire of his company to enter into partnership deals with universities and other institutions in the region as emphasized upon by the North West regional assembly president Fru Angwafor, who had earlier reiterated that the economic forum is for the closing of deals and not a speech making ceremony. 

Placed under the distinguished patronage of the head of state, Paul Biya, the first ever Economic Forum, a fruit of the North West Development and Investment Fund (NOWEDIF) and North West Digital Association (NOWEDA), is taking place under the theme 'From Resilience To Renaissance: Strategies for the economic transformation of the NW region"
