North-West Governor Adolph Lele Lafrique, in his capacity as the Head of State's representative at the ongoing maiden edition of the North-West Economic Forum, has saluted the untiring efforts of the president of the North West Regional Assembly, for bringing to the limelight and celebrating the treasures of the North West through his Peace and Development Initiatives

He was speaking as he opened discussions at the first-ever North-West Economic Forum that kicked off July 12 at the north west regional assembly under the theme" From Resilience To Renaissance: strategies for the economic transformation of the North West region".

The head of state's representative described the forum as timely " .. coming at an opportune moment when the Region is steadily turning the page from the crisis, and moving surely into stability and growth... ", he said

Governor Adolph Lele Lafrique said the strides made by the North West Regional Assembly under the auspices of Fru Angwafo is 'mind blowing'.

He thanked the public and private sector actors for their sacrifice and time in ensuring the forum holds, encouraging them to use it and define the next chapter of the North West by developing a roadmap for the economic revival of the region.

As the Economic Forum launches the North West Development and Investment Fund (NOWEDIF), he urged sons and daughters in the region and beyond to play their part in writing their names in the history of the program, that seeks to raise capital for the economic and infrastructural transformation of the region by donating to the fund and subscribing for shares.
