By Martial Gnoukapasir
Section President of CPDM Mezam IV Bafut, Mayor Ngwakongoh Lawrence has laid emphasis that no other presidential aspirant amongst those seeking Cameroon's top job, is qualified to lead this nation and propel it to emergence like the incumbent president Paul Biya.
Mayor Ngwakongoh Lawrence, was speaking recently in Bamenda as campaigns for the presidential election enters full force, noting that for his municipality of Bafut, Incumbent president Paul Biya remains the panacea to the problems facing Bafut in as much as development is concern.
To the Mezam IV CPDM section president, Bafut has been able to overcome their difficulties thanks to the visionary leadership of president Paul Biya, who through regional and local administrative officials have been able to provide local solutions to their problems for the past years.
"That is why the population has come out to say stand again Mr president, so that Bafut should continue to grow" he said.
Mayor Ngwakongoh Lawrence was speaking, on the sidelines of the visit of the CPDM scribe, Jean Nkuete, who was in the region to reinforced campaigns for president Biya.
The bridges, schools, hospitals, roads amongst others, according to the mayor, which have been coming to the sub division via numerous programs, are substantial reasons why he thinks the population should rally behind president Paul Biya for another term of office.
"If someone is giving you cold water and development, giving you peace, what else do you want? All these things have been given to us in bafut and so we see no reason why a bafut man should relent his efforts in giving his vote to Biya".
He launched a call to all the neighbouring villages still dragging their legs, to wake up from slumber and rally as one man behind President paul Biya, who is capable of providing peace and development in Mezam IV.
Mayor Ngwakongoh Lawrence said mobilisation had long been going on in bafut with the encouragement of electorates to pick up their voters card. A project he said, came after the encouragement of massive registration of eligible voters took place.
To him, all has been dusted pending the elections which comes up, three days from today.
