NTAMCCUL: Branches, Staff rewarded for outstanding performance in 2024

Members of the Ntambeng Co-operative Credit Union (NTAMCULL), have through their Board, reward some staffers of the union and branches, for their resilience, determination and strides in growing the business of the union to the interest of it's owners in 2024.
This was at the 57th Annual General Assembly Meeting that took place Sunday February 23rd at the Ntambeng Catholic mission Hall.
Fo quickly recovering from a delinquency and negative balance sheet that almost forced the union from closing it's doors, the Ntambeng branch of the union was offered a brand new car by the board members as the most resilience branch of the NTAMCULL.
The board president Ndonwi Shu Peter whose term of office was renewed at the elective AGM alongside alongside other members of the board appreciated them for their ability to reverse this trend through outstanding performance that drew more and more promoters to the union last year and the years before.
The Kumba branch chapter went home with a brand new car as well, with an award of being the most determined branch of the union in 2024.
speaking, the board president indicated that at one point in time during the difficult days of the union when he just came, they were advice to close the doors of the Kumba branch.
"Thank God we refuse, I want to indicate here that it was this branch that brought in the highest liquidity for the union in 2024 which help the union in most of us transactions" he said.
The Limbe chapter emerged the first branch in 2024 for registering the highest number of new members into NTAMCULL, which largely resulted to swelling of membership from over 28,000 in 2023 to over 33,854 in 2024.
Another recognition was handed to the promotions and education committee of the limbe branch, for their contributions in securing over 5700 new members for the union in 2024 alone.
The melong branch in Douala that bagged home the first price in 2023, emerged second this time around, same position with the Yaounde - Simbock branch. They all received certificates for emerging 2nd best in piloting the affairs of the union to higher heights in 2024.
The culture of rewarding staff excellence and performance of branches by Ntambeng cooperative Union have led to improvement in the quality of services offered to the members by the employees.
Once we make the staff confident they give us the results. We took when the staff strength of the union was just 30 with very poor salaries, today we have a staff strength of 118, enjoying bonuses and salaries that are improved every year" he added.
At last year annual general meeting for 2023, three cars were handed to other branches to facilitate their work on the field as well.
