Realized, Ongoing Projects under the Reconstruction program PM Dion Ngute will visit, evaluate during his stay in Bamenda

North West Governor Adolph Lele Lafrique alongside other members of the regional constituted corps will on Thursday July 3rd welcome into the region, the Prime Minister, Head of government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute at Matazen.
The PM, stepping his foot into the region for the 3rd time since taking office in 2019, is coming to take stock of projects realized and those being excuted by government within the framework of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the NW/SW regions, when the steering committee meets for their 7th session in Bamenda.
Some of the projects, a host of them under the PPRD, which the PM will visit for inspection will include:
✓ The St.Joseph Nursery and Primary School
✓ The Mile 4 market project funded by the C2D where he will lay the foundation stone
✓ The Mile 4 bridge under construction being realized with funds from the Public Investment Budget
✓ The stretch of the road, Avenue Park - Monument under the C2D program
✓ The Atugolah Nta'afi Proximity football stadium in Bamendakwe
✓ Visit to Ecole des Champions
✓ Inspection of progress made at the Ecole des Champions - Welcome to Bamenda, stretch of the road.
✓ Inspection of the Welcome to Bamenda - Matazen stretch of the road
✓ The women's empowerment centre in Santa
✓ Laying of the foundation stone of the Bamenda intra-urban road networks etc.
The Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North West and South West Regions - PPRD - NW/SW, also boast to have carried out other economic, social and infrastructural developmental projects in the region

✓ Catholic Primary and Nursery School, Ngomgham
✓ SATEC Alakuma Mankon
✓ CBC School Complex, Nkwen
✓ Islamic Nursery and Primary School, Old Town Bamenda
✓ GNPS Kibbo, IPS Babungo, GS BU, GS MBACHA, GS Agulli, and GS Bangwe
Under Water and Sanitation
✓ Solar-powered water points in Ndu and Kakar
Under Health and Social Services
✓ Medical equipment supply to PHC Mankon
✓ Jakiri and Santa Multifunctional Women and Youth Centres
Economic Recovery and Livelihoods
✓ Reconstruction of Weh Market.
✓ 40 market stores in Baligansin
✓ Support to community microfinance institutions
The Committee during the session at the Bamenda congress hall on Friday July 4th will validate it's activity report and discuss on the new programs to be fitted in the 2025 action plan.
The 7th Steering Committee Session is taking m place within the broader framework of the Major National Dialogue held in 2019, convened by the President of the Republic, H.E. Paul Biya.
The initiative was designed to restore essential services, rebuild infrastructure, and consolidate peace in the crisis-affected regions.
