Northwest CPDM Women promise to secure victory for Biya Come October

The interim head of the CPDM permanent regional delegation to the North West, Senator mrs Regina Mundi, meeting with fellow Women of the party at the Bamenda congress hall on Saturday September 6, have pledged and mapped out strategies to employ in securing victory for presidential candidate Paul Biya, in the upcoming October 12 presidential elections.
She expressed satisfaction with the number of women that showed up at the strategic meeting that held under the theme "Women, Securing Peace and Building Victory Together".
According to the current CPDM head for the North West, the current head of state who is also an aspirant in the elections of October 12, has done more to empower women not just in the region but in Cameroon. Reason she said it's time to work, return the favour.
Women representatives from the seven divisions of the North West, took turns at the rostrum to count the achievements and gains under the "New deal government" in their respective divisions.
According to the senator, there's need for the women to be united and stand as one woman, one pillar, to give president Biya a resounding victory, stressing that Biya's victory is victory for all Cameroonians.
She also enjoined them to rally same efforts in the restoration of peace in the region.
" If we don't stand together we can't achieve anything. This party was given birth in this region and in this hall. As women we can't deny to suckle it's offspring which is president Biya" she added.

As strategy, she caution the women to ensure that they woo other people to stand by the CPDM party candidate beginning from their homes.
"Build your homes and ensure that peace reigns therein before moving to the quarters. speak softly and with respect to others without badmouthing others. If you have a good mouth, people will listen to you" She added.
The mega rally was also an opportunity to reward excellence for students who excelled last academic year and support the children of the women in attendance with back to school needs.
A total of 28 students who earned distinction at the 2024 General Certificate of Education Examination, drawn from the 7 divisions of the North West region receive FCFA 100,000frs each.
A total of 4 students both male and female, 2 from the ordinary level and 2 from the advanced level from each division were identified to receive the cash prizes.
School items comprising of school bags, books and other writing materials, worth fcfa 15million was shared to the women and kids at the rally in support of the academic year.
At the end of the rally, the women jointly offered a strong worded motion of support to give president Paul Biya, 100% Victory in all the polls in the North West region.
