North West CPDM Youths Mobilize 7 Million FCFA in Support of President Paul Biya's 2025 Presidential Campaign

Militants of the youth wing of the ruling CPDM party in the North West region have contributed Seven million francs CFA cash, to support president Paul Biya register his candidature when the polls are called for the presidential election expected in October.
This is coming amidst multiple calls within the ranks of the party in the region and beyond, for the president to seek another mandate by standing as their natural candidate in the upcoming polls.
The contributions from the 34 sections of the YCPDM militants, mobilize with support from the elites of the region, was handed to the National President of the YCPDM, Auguste Essomba, by National Bureau members of the party's youth wing for the North West.
Mayor Dinghambong Anthony and mayor Chenwi Peter handed the envelope, at a Mega Rally organized by the CPDM youths on Saturday May 10th at the congress hall in Bamenda.
Handing over the money, the two national bureau members for the North West said" In 2011 we did it, this time around we are doing it again after a series of mobilisation meetings. we supporting our national chairman, not because he lack the funds for his caution. We want to show him committed and firm the CPDM youths in the north west are, in supporting his candidature for the upcoming elections and the ideals of the new deal"
Receiving the money for onward transmission to the national president of the party Paul Biya, the national president of the youth wing of the Cameroon's People Democratic Movement, the CPDM said, he has come to realize, judging from his visit in 2018 during the last presidential election and this current visit, that president Paul Biya is very popular in Bamenda.
Auguste Essomba said with this support from Bamenda, he's certain the 2025 presidential election will have a similar outcome to that of 2018, which is, having Paul Biya emerging the winner.

He saluted the young militants in Bamenda for their resilience, courage and dynamism to the ideals of the new deal.
"The best political offer we have in this country, is the one from President Paul Biya, that's why we are still standing firmly behind him" he added
Mr Essomba said he was marveled by the turn out.
" I came here expecting to see a few people, to a 100 people but i have seen thousands. I will make my report and it will be a complete reflection of what I have seen, witnessed and heard here" he continued.
He thank the organizers for such a mobilization and promised to transmit as instructed the youths contribution to president Paul Biya, national president of the CPDM party.
Interim head of CPDM permanent delegation for the North west, senator Mrs Regina Mundi described the gathering as one of the most interesting the party was living in a long while.
"The youths are the beautiful flowers of the cpdm, blooming and giving the party an exotic aroma. The Cpdm represents a family, father, mother and children, reason why we are here to support the youths" she said.
She beckon on the youths to ensure that the commitment they've taken through the gesture to give president Paul Biya a landslide victory, should not end with mere promises. She urged them to be campaign managers in their various corners and for each militant to bring onboard at least 20 other members to support and vote for president Paul Biya come October.
"Remain steadfast, don't be swayed by the forces of distraction. make positive impacts in your communities, shun violence and encourage dialogue" she told the youths

The Cpdm youths of the North West, taking cognizance of the realizations of the government in the region with the recent being the inauguration of the Bamenda gas plant, used the occasion to forward a motion of support to the president of the republic, aligning their voices to that of others, for the head of state to launch his presidential campaign in Bamenda his second home, precisely at the bamenda Congress hall were the party was birthed 40 years ago.
