CPDM Mezam IV Bafut Promises Biya 100% Come October at 40th Anniversary Celebrations

The section president of the CPDM political party in Mezam IV Bafut, mayor Ngwakongoh Lawrence have indicated that massive registration of eligible voters into the electoral register is ongoing in Bafut, as the sub division prepares to throw its weight behind presidential Paul Biya in the up coming presidential elections.
The section president was speaking on the sidelines of the Ruby Jubilee celebration that took place in Bamenda on Monday March 24, were militants of the section turned out in their numbers to support a motion, calling for the National President of the CPDM party President Paul Biya, to launch his campaign bid in the capital city of the region where the party was birthed.
"In Bafut, we are celebrating a new birth of the CPDM as life begins at 40. We are celebrating a new steam, looking at how to widen our tentacles to all the suburbs of Bafut, where the CPDM is existing" he said
The Section President also reiterated that efforts are being doubled to give president Paul Biya one hundred percent in the presidential elections expected in October this year.
" That is why we are putting new wine into an old calabash to ensure that the CPDM party becomes more tasteful in Mezam IV. We are pledging one hundred percent behind our natural candidate His Excellency president Paul Biya" he added.
Speaking on how mobilized the section is ahead of the polls, mayor Ngwakongoh said the sub division was more than ready, reason why during the first phase of enlisting of electors into the electoral register, Bafut registered more than the assigned target.
"That is how ready we are. You cannot say you are preparing to go do farming without having your hoes and cutlasses. During this second phase of registration, we have continued with our mobilization and we even have youths that are even leaving schools to pass and register for the elections"
This action according to the section president, shows how ready even the youths are to storm the pooling stations and claim victory for president Biya come October.
His words were complimented by the Central Committee Resource person for Mezam IV, Tabod Jacqueline Mah epse Mejang, who said the party unites everyone, those in bafut inclusive.
"So my message to the militants in Mezam IV is for everyone to come out and register, because if they don't they cannot express themselves on the day of elections" she said.
She also called on those not militating in any political party to join the CPDM.
The militants of the section were accompanied to the celebrations by some Fons and notables from Bafut.
