Presbyterian Church Ntamulung Celebrates performance of CMF at 2024 Annual Rally

The Christian Men's Fellowship group of the Presbyterian Church Ntamulung has been celebrated by christians for putting up a spectacular performance at the 2024 Annual rally.

The men of Truth and Honor emerged overall 2nd of the 824 groups that took part at the national rally of December 2024.

They took part in nine activities including a Bible quiz were they scored 93/100, exhibition and craft were they score 15 out of 15, 9.25/10 for brain trust, 15/15 in singing etc.

CMF Ntamulung scored a total of 194.6 points  out of 200 at the rally ranking them 2nd nationally.

Marvelled by this performance, the mayor of Bamenda II council Peter Chenwi, a staunch member of CMF since 2006 and patron of the group saluted their feat with a cash prize of fcfa 300,000, promising 500,000frs in an efforts to push them to higher heights as they prepare to top the chart in the competition this year.

After listening to efforts being made by the Christians of the Ntamulung to beautify their house of worship, the mayor pledged 100 bags of cement for the giant church project.

" I've been a member of the CMF since 2006, i'm so proud to belong to the group and that is why am here today to support them for emerging national 2nd and encourage them emerge first in the nation this year"

Mayor Chenwi also indicated that as a developer and builder, he  has the responsibility as a mayor, to beautify the house of God.

"... I never dreamt of becoming a mayor. As one today, I have every right to tell God thank you, reason why in the course of building this municipality, i must also build the house of God therein"

The Christian Men's Fellowship who thrilled the congregation in song and dance all through the church service of Sunday February 19th, received their cash prize of 100,000frs, an award and a flag, jointly handed to them by National Secretary of Men's work Rev. Paul Ngu Tah and the Bamenda II mayor, Chenwi Peter.

The Presbyterian secretary for Mezam, Teneng Lucas who celebrated Sunday service said even before his coming, he has been hearing of the good deeds of the mayor to the church.

In appreciating the works the mayor is doing in God's vineyard he said "We are praying for you to keep soaring like an eagle in the sky, and no stone shall bring you down" 

He reminded the christians, drawing inspiration from Luke 8:4-15, to remain steadfast to the things and teachings of the Lord - like the seeds in the parable of the sowa, that fell on solid ground. 

Mayor Chenwi Peter was  accompanied for the Sunday worship by some female mayors comprising of the president of female mayors in the North West, Annatou Abrams, Abong Esther who'sand Lum Chesi Miriam, the 1st deputies of Tubah and Bafut councils respectively.
