Kendely Foundation lays foundation stone for construction of a bridge in Njimocho, Mbengwi

Denizens of Njimocho quarter and the population of Mbengwi sub division in Momo as a whole, have expressed satisfaction over the decision by Kendely Foundation to construct a bridge in Njimocho quarter.

The bridge which will upon completion, will link the Njimocho quarter to other communities like Zem, Wumngang and Njembeng quarters in Mbengwi, is a donation from the president of KENDELY Group of Companies, Chief Dr Ndang Kenneth and his wife Dr. Mrs Ndang Delphine under their Kendely Foundation.

Dr Ndang and wife, saluted the resilience of the inhabitants of Njimocho in particular and the those in the village in general during the planting of the foundation on February 18th.

They promised their unflinchingly commitment towards other development programs in the sub division, indicating that the bridge is in fulfillment of a promise made sometime ago.

He urged them inhabitants of the village to safeguard the project, promising the grading of roads in the village and to construct another bridge in the nearest future as a way of giving back to the community.

Also speaking at the laying of the foundation stone of the 28million fcfa project, the president general of the Mbengwi Cultural and Development Association said he was so happy with the benefactor for thinking about the construction of the bridge.

The metta Presbytery secretary general who led a college of pastors to the site, invoked God's blessings upon the foundation and it's sponsors for thinking about the suffering masses in the village, division and beyond.

The donors also received ancestral blessings of protection from the eldest woman in Njimocho.

The Senior Divisional Officer for Momo Fauda Nicaise who was conspicuously present while lauding the humanitarian actions, made a plea for other elite of the area to follow the footsteps of KENDELY in developing the land.

A bastion of traditional rulers of the Metta Clan answered present and throw their blessings on the Kendely foundation, for reaching out to communities and helping the poor, orphans and under privileges.

The laying of the foundation was further graced with traditional dances motivated by sounds and rhythms from the area.
