Paul Biya's 92 birthday celebrated in Bamenda

Servants of God from different denomination have seek God's intervention in the life of the president of the republic as he continues to pilot the affairs of this nation.
They supplicated God's hands upon the life of Paul Biya, February 13th at the North West Governor's esplanade on the occasion of his 92 anniversary celebration in Bamenda.
Their messages focused on peace, forgiveness, respect for human dignity, God's protection, reconciliation, prosperity of the land among others.
Drawing inspiration from passages of the bible, the men and women of God also asked the almighty to bless president Biya with knowledge and wisdom to propel the nation towards the ways of prosperity, and for all to join the top servant of the country in the battle against hatred, tribalism and all other vices that put us asunder.
The celebration of the head of states 92 birthday brought together some administrative and municipal big wigs of the region.
Speaking at the event, the Bamenda city mayor said he's celebrating president Paul Biya for his Godly posture.
" By godly posture I mean his approach to matters, his love for humanity and that's the kind of love God has for his people. Even those who hurt him the most, despite the shooting of his police officers, gendarmes, DO's in this town - yet he still prepares a DDR centre for them. That's what I love about him" he said.
He also described president Paul Biya as a 'father seated on a sit of mercy', reason why he has decided to celebrate him.
North West Governor Adolph Lele Lafrique also said president Paul biya has continue to present himself as a "begger of peace" to all in the North West, begining with the major national dialogue, the reconstruction plan and other initiatives which he said were yielding fruits in the troubled regions of North West and south west.
He also indicated that other development projects engaged like the inner city roads of Bamenda, nkambe etc were just examples of the love the head of state have for the region. All these according governor Adolph Lele Lafrique culminate reasons why on such a day, the head of state deserves to be celebrated.
The celebration also witness the cutting of the special birthday cake made for the head of state, followed by a singing of the happy birthday song.
A toast was also proposed by the director general of MIDENO Cletus Anye Matoya, for good health and many more years to the president of the republic.
North West Governor was also given a Bible by the college of clergy at the event to take to the unity palace.
