Bafmeng United's head coach Tama Wango says it's motivating to play against top flight team Young Sports Academy.

He spoke after his side recorded a 1-0 win over the club in the second encounter of the ongoing Bamenda Pre-season Solidarity Tournament taking place at the St Paul school field in Nkwen.

"it motivates the players and even the management of the club ,because they know where they're putting their money will yield something at the end" Mr Tama said.

He explained that his objective in the Pre-season tournament is to push the team to go as far as it can, as they're still in the recruitment phase.

"We are expecting that those we've recruited will give in their best not just in this tournament but in this year's championship as well"

"You don't go into any competition to loose and for us we're going to just keep trying to win one game after another and possibly win the competition"

Bafmeng United which put up an impressive performance was a force to reckon with in the 2021 football season in the north west regional league.

They were booted out at the semi final stage of the championship last year by Unviersal Soccer Academy.

Applauding the tournament organizers for the competition which to him serves as a platform to measure his team's abilities to deliver, he acknowledged he will also use it to create team Spirit and solidarity amongst his players.
